Some reviewers here and on other sites suggest that the area around Omonia square is somehow unsafe, but to me such reports seem grossly exaggerated. The hotel is located on a rather busy street and Omonia square itself is quite busy into late hours as well. I arrived around midnight using public transport and at no moment did I feel even slightly unsafe or uncomfortable. The location of the hotel is, in fact, ideal for a city break - it is very close to the metro station and major attractions are pretty much within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. When I arrived, the hotel bar was already closed, but the receptionist offered me a bottle of water, which was very much appreciated. The room and the bathroom were a bit on the smaller side, but well equipped, clean, comfortable and generally adequate for this hotel category. There was a minifridge in the room which I found very useful. The breakfast was quite good with sufficient variety of cold cuts, fruit, yoghurt and pastry options - again, more than adequate fot a 3-star hotel. The orange juice was freshly made rather than a concentrate-based generic one from a box - I thought this was quite nice.

Breakfast is great at this hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Despite being in the city center, room was quiet. I have stayed here a number of times, and this hotel offers good value for the money. If you are looking for uniform, corporate-designed rooms, this isn't your place. They vary a bit, and some of the bathrooms are definitely a tight squeeze, but everything works fine. If you are in Athens for tourism, the fact that the Omonia Metro station is quite close is a bonus, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the National Museum.

The location of the hotel is very good (if you do not take into account the presence of homeless), close to many of the places to visit in Athens. Very good breakfast with good quality products (fruits, tasty vegetables, hot bread, very good cheese and olives ). Excellent coffee. The staff was very friendly and with pertinent answers to any questions. Very good quality-price ratio if you want a clean and civilized space for rest and sleep after long walks through wonderful Athens.

Everything. Was more than what I was expecting. I never been in a hotel like that. Staff totally friendly and helpfull. When we arrived, they gave us 2 bottles of water and told that if we need any information to ask them. Also the day of check out we had to leave at 2am to the airport and they prepare a breakfast box for us. There was plenty space in the room, beds comfortable and the shower was the best I have had. It was like a waterfall.

Super friendly staff and small but delicious breakfast! The rooms are clean and comfortable for a short stay. The only thing to criticize is that there is no kettle and coffe/tea in the rooms. The location seems to be in a bad neighborhood (a lot of graffitti/homeless) but if you walk on the main streets it's safe and it's just a 30min walk to Akropolis and only 10 min by public transport or taxi. All in all good value for money!
